Zou Demei is a Christian from Liaoning Province, China. After she and her family began believing in the Lord, she was persecuted and monitored by the CCP. Then, after accepting the work of Almighty God in the last days, she was secretly surveilled, and then forced to flee to escape arrest by the CCP. Later, after she became an important leader in The Church of Almighty God, the CCP offered a large reward for her capture, and charges were filed against her as a national-level criminal. During this period, she fled from place to place, without a fixed residence. She was finally forced to flee to the United States in January of 2017, but was arrested for irregularities with her identity. While in prison, she learned that her parents had been arrested in China, and that her mother had died due to the CCP’s persecution while in detention.
Christ is the truth, the way, and the life. God's sheep hear God's voice. As long as you read the words of Almighty God, you will see God has appeared.

Nine International NGOs Jointly Condemn the CCP's Persecution of The Church of Almighty God
On November 28, 2017, nine international non-governmental organizations, including Coordination of Associations and Individuals for Freedom of Conscience (CAP Freedom of Conscience), the Center for Studies on New Religions (CESNUR), and the European Interreligious Forum for Religious Freedom (EIFRF), jointly issued a statement condemning the CCP's efforts to attack and discredit The Church of Almighty God by using the media and swaying public opinion in South Korea, Hong Kong, Taiwan and other regions. The nine NGOs pointed out that "The fact that several articles against The Church of Almighty God appeared at the same time in different countries cannot be a coincidence. It is part of an effort by the Chinese regime to hide the fact that it violates the provisions of international conventions on religious liberty it has subscribed, something for which it keeps being condemned by international organizations." The NGOs also urged responsible media outlets to consult the existing academic literature on The Church of Almighty God, and to refrain from repeatedly reposting false news spread by the Chinese regime.

The CCP Is the Mastermind Behind the 8.28 Protest—Religious Persecution

At 9 a.m. on August 28, 2016, Wu, a representative of some religious website in South Korea, Tian, from China, as well as some other people, staged a protest at the gate of the Church of Almighty God in Guro, Seoul. During the protest, Wu instructed Tian and her son to cry at the gate, and let the reporter take photos of the scenes. They also tried several times to force into the church. Tian is the wife of Zhang, who is a Christian of the Church of Almighty God, and fled from China to Korea in 2015 due to the frenzied oppression and persecution of the CCP government. The reason Tian and Wu claimed to make this protest was: The Church of Almighty God took control of Zhang and forced him to perform duty in South Korea, which thus wrecked Tian’s family. So they demanded that the Church of Almighty God let go of Zhang.

Before we talk about the “demonstration” farce by the Chinese mother and son, it’s necessary for us to have a review of the “Zhaoyuan Murder Case.” On May 28, 2014, the murder took place at a McDonald’s restaurant in Zhaoyuan, Shandong Province. According to reason, it was just a common criminal case. But on the next day, the criminal suspects were said to be “members of the Church of Almighty God.” Immediately, this common criminal case was widely publicized and reported by Chinese media, and it created a background favorable to the CCP’s upcoming movement of suppressing and persecuting the Church of Almighty God.
