US Congressional Briefing: A Call for Sanctions Against the CCP for Human Rights Violations

On October 11, 2018, a U.S. Congressional briefing entitled “A Final Attempt to Defend Human Rights in China” was held on Capitol Hill, Washington. Christians from The Church of Almighty God(CAG) were invited to attend and speak to congressional staff and foreign policy experts on the ongoing situation of persecution of Christians of this Church by the CCP.
A number of representatives of other groups suffering brutal suppression by the Chinese government also spoke. Ms Tina L. Mufford, Deputy Director of Research and Policy at the US Commission on International Religious Freedom, also attended as a special guest and spoke on the dire state of human rights in China.
