One who believes in God must have God's words with him to avoid a dull life. The light shines from God's word, without the words of God, I don't know who I am. To keep our heart close to God, we must read His words and often commune with the truth. To receive God's approval, we must seek the truth. The path of life grows more magnificent under my feet. My change of disposition will be commended by God. I will continue to strive to work hard and forge forward. Success is calling to me.

In the spring of 2006, I was stripped of my position as leader and sent back home because I was considered a “yes-man” and had been disturbing and disrupting the work of the church. For the first few days after I got back, I languished in a constant state of pain, thinking: “I never imagined that after years of serving as a leader I would be replaced on account of being a ‘yes-man.’ This is the end for me; I will be held up as a bad example in the church. How will those who know me think of me? How can I face them?” The more I thought about it, the more negative I became, until I finally lost all faith to continue pursuing the truth.

Those who only think of their flesh and comforts, those whose faith is uncertain, those who practice witchcraft and sorcery, lecherous ones, tattered and worn, those who steal from God, taking sacrifices, who love bribes or idly dream of heaven, those arrogant and proud, striving for fame and wealth, those who spread impious words, those unrepentant people trapped in sin, are they not beyond salvation? Those unrepentant people trapped in sin, are they not beyond salvation?

After I saw in God’s words that God likes honest people and hates deceitful people, and that only honest people will be saved by God, I began to focus on seeking to be an honest person, to consciously practice speaking accurately, to be objective, practical, and realistic when reporting on issues. In my work, whether it was an error or an omission, I related it in detail to the leader. I also consciously dissected and exposed the corruption I revealed. Every time I put this into practice, I felt that I had undergone some changes and I had gained a bit of the likeness of an honest person. I couldn’t help but live within a state of smugness.
